In a blink of an eye, year 2014 has officially come to an end!
It's been awhile since I've blogged, so to sum up my life is the past half a year or even months would be too much to post. So perhaps I will just do a summary on December 2014, as it's one of my favorite month of the year. But I guess this is also gonna be a really really long post, don't say that I did not warn you.
To begin, December is an interesting month because it involved Christmas Day and Melody's Birthday! It is the most festive month of the year with celebrations all month long for Christmas Day as well as New Year Day to welcome the new year!

Even before December started, I was already doing what I loved most, preparing gifts for so many group of people in my life for Christmas and DIY goodie bags filled with goodies for Melody's classmates too.
These are the goodie bags to be given to Melody's classmates during her mini birthday celebration in school!
These are prepared for SingTel's Prepaid Team and SHAO Production's team as a small gesture & token of appreciation towards them!

Had an advance birthday celebration for my baby girl in her school today! As requested, I bought her a big Frozen design cake. 2kg cake but all was finished in her school by her classmates & teachers. Baby girl was so happy that it was finally her turn to cut cake in school as she was complaining that everyone else has cut cake except her.

It was SPOC's Xmas BBQ cum Secret Santa gift exchange night at one of our colleague, Calvin's, condo apartment. It was a fun night that lasted till the wee hours of xmas eve. (Thank goodness we are given off day on xmas eve) One of out director, Daniel, was the head BBQ chef of the night. The beef he cooked for us was so awesome that everyone f us are impatiently waiting for it and snatching it when it is available. The one big piece that he cuts into small slices usually gone within seconds, shows how very nice it is! Secret Santa gift exchange was kinda fun as the gift recipient had to guess who was his/her secret santa. If guess wrongly, he/she has to drink a special 'punishment' drink, which is a weird mix of hard loquor and beer. If he/she guess correctly, the secret santa will be the one who has to drink. And unfortunately for me, I guessed my secret santa wrongly and my gift recipient guessed me as her secret santa correctly so I ended drinking two times. But besides these two times I was forced to drink as a punishment, I actually resisted from drinking the entire night! We had our SPOC team blackjack gambling session through-out the rest of the night in Calvin's cosy home. It was a really fun night with the company & co, thanks for having us over this Christmas for team-bonding session as well!

My dear mother asked me out for a xmas limunch date on the eve of xmas! We met at Nex and had lunch at Seoul Garden. As usual, I always spam lots of black pepper beef and black pepper fish! Ended the meal with my favorite Cooke N Cream flavored ice-cream topped with koko crunch & lots of aloe vera. After pur long heavy lunch, we walked around Nex for awhile more before we parted ways.

Happy Happy FIFTH birthday to my sweet pretty adorable lovely little princess baby!!!!! 💝🎉🎈🎄🎉🎁 In a blink of an eye, it has been 5 years since I bought you into this world. I can't believe how big you have grown up to be already, but it still feels like you are always a little baby in my eyes! My greatest gift or my best christmas gift must be you! I really really wish that you will grow up to be a sensible and healthy girl, most importantly to be happy and cheerful always. I love how you have endless things to talk to me about when we are together, it's funny that you can just go on talking for hours without stopping, so adorable like that! I hope in the coming new year, you will start to speak Chinese! You are so weird, you understand everything people converse to you in Chinese but you just refuse to speak in Chinese, only responding in English all the time. You are a very very smart girl but also a very very stubborn girl, I hope your bad temper will go away so you don't throw tantrums or get angry or annoyed so easily over small little things. I need to wish fot more bravery in you, sometimes you are such a timid little girl yet you always put on a strong front and act brave before things really happened. My funny little monster, always surprising me with something new she learned and making me laugh even when I am trying to be serious or angry with her. 8) Part 1 - 27.12.2014
It was a day out for the mummies & kiddies, Jasmine & Trev and Me & Melody to celebrate Melody's birthday together. We took a cab to Gardens By The Bay. Had lunch at Verandah as Jasmine & I were craving for Truffle Fries. We tried Tom Yum seafood pasta while the kids had Panda bento box. This meal cost us exactly $80, quite a bomb but food was not too bad, truffle fries was nice.
After lunch, it was time to explore Cloud Forest and Flower Dome. It was Trev's first time and Melody's second time visiting these places! Of course lots of photos are snapped during those times so.... Here goes SOME of the photos only!!
It was raining real heavily when we finished exploring the two places, so we took a cab to Suntec City. Our plan was to bringg te kiddos to Polliwogs for some fun time, but was placed on a waiting list. So... Meanwhile, we just chilled and had donut at J.Co!
When it was finally our turn, the kiddos went in for their two hours of fun time. Us mummies who had nothing to do but wait fr them in the waiting area, could only eat and eat to past time. They had truffle fries and it was still as addictive, ordered two portion of truffle fries and one portion of wings with two glasses of ribena. The kids loves the truffle fries as well.

9) Part 2 - 27.12.2014
Melody requested for a cake on her special day and we had to make do with a last minute selection at Compass Point at 9pm. After looking around at a few of the cake shops, we ended up choosing a Marvel Hero Batman cake from Polar as it was the only vanilla sponge cake. The rest were chocolate and I remembered chocolate was not nice. But the Batman cake was really cute though....
Sadly, there was no one else at home so it was just my helper, baby Alden & I who celebrated her birthday for her at home. Initially she seems unhappy and refused to smile for me, until after singing her a birthday song did she start to smile and pose for me. Happy Birthday once again my precious little princess Melody!!!
Also allowed her to start drawing since she has been thinking of drawing since last night, but it was too late and time to sleep so I did not allow her to play her new toys last night.

I went over to Betty's home today for her House-warming cum Casanne's birthday celebration together with Melody. It has been a yearly affair to gather with my Mum's side family at this time of the year since year 2011 till date. One of my favorite yearly family events!

Because this is the last day of the month, I made an excuse that it was ALRIGHT to eat as much as I want because eating is a form of celebration! (I know that I am a monster to be able to eat so much but I really love to eat!)

Supposedly to have crepes at Lady M, but original flavor was sold out. So it was my first time here, ordered their rainbow cake, mini waffle with two scoops ice-cream and mac & cheese. Rainbow cake and mac & cheese was pretty awesome, waffle & ice lemon tea was a no-no though. But this place is just so adorable!
Fourth stop - Bali Thai for dinner! (9pm)
My favorite kang kong was sold out, so sad again. Had tom yum seafood soup, chilli kai lan and ayam goreng in basket.
Fifth stop - Half a dozen J.Co yummy donuts for dessert!
And because today was also pay day, I kond of did a little shopping and got myself some new tops from Cotton On and TEMT! Most of it I planned to use it for my trip next week!
There are alot of close friends or people I respect whose birthday falls in the month of December! My helper as well as a handful of peeps from Four Seasons Catering such as Pamela, Ashley, Fayth, Joey & Kristen! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL OF YOU DECEMBER BABIES AND WISHING ALL OF YOU A LIFE FULL OF HAPPINESS, JOY & LAUGHTER IN THE NEXT ONE YEAR!
Also, my beloved Grandpa's death anniversary was on 4th december and my beloved Grandma's birthday was on 24th December. Missing them both so much and always loving then regardless of there they have gone. Xoxo!

And so, I have finally come to the end of my extremely long post. I bet this must be the longeat post I have ever written in my life. I started this post at 5pm and only finished it close to 2am. No, I didnt spend all the time doing this, as there were times I was eating etc.
Year 2014 has brought about so much changes in my life. A change of job too. Coming to the end of year 2014, everything seems to be going well, or at least I thought so. I hope year 2015 would be a fulfilling year fill with all the good things in life for Melody & I, as well as all the people I love. GOODBYE YEAR 2014!!!!!
