Simple Sunday.

Randomly, an ex-colleague, Skylar, texted me this morning and I happen to be free. So she came to pick me up about 10.45am and we went to Greenwich Mall for breakfast/lunch/brunch at Coffee Bean. It's the first time I been to Greenwich since it has been built, quite alot of nice food outlets actually.

Thank you Skylar for your treat, I had Hot Double Chocolate and Ultimate Breakfast. There was some drama with the manager shouting at his staffs becos we waited very long for our order and as it was being missed out too. But I must say this kind of attitude shows lousy leadership quality, don't like the way he handled the situstion much.

Waited at home half the day with my Melody for my sister to come over to play with her. So it's another stay home day for my Melody because sister always want to find her to play. Hahaha.

My Farewell Gifts to Colleagues.

These are everything that I have prepared for my colleagues as a farewell gift from me to them.

For my marketing manager, Fayth.

For one my my closest colleague, Ashley.

The handdrawn/handwritten farewell cards for the four of them, theirs was more special.

For Chef Mike, he left before me. Rabbit because his zodiac animal is Rabbit.

For Chef Ling, he said he likes Pig. Because his zodiac animal was not available.

I started preparing all this farewell cards and gifts at least one month in advance, and most of it was ready within two weeks in advance. That's how sure I was about leaving this company. I love the people there, but for some reasons, I can't stay anymore..

A TGIF (Thank God It's Friday) day indeed!

(Because I am not working and this day has been fruitful)

I met Cheng for lunch at Raffles Place, which is at his work place area. We decided to have DOME for lunch at UOB Building. I ordered Half-Shell Scallop Linguine pasta while Cheng had Prawn Aglio Olio. We both order Iced Mocha Gelato after we finished our pasta. It was a good catch-up session over lunch and I finally passed him the long overdue christmas gift I had prepared for him. This lunch meal turns out to be his treat, so I owe him a treat the next time round!

 

 

 

 

 

Next, I was trying to decide to head home or to find Buddy Kenny at his workplace which is also in the area. But thanks to Mummy Jasmine impromptu decision to meet, I decided to go find Buddy K. I had to look at the map for a long time before I was confident enough to make my way to Stanley Street, Buddy K works at BodyTec. So I started snapping away in the studio cos it looks beautiful. Buddy K was hungry but he could not leave the shop so I went to helped him packet Fried Chicken Nasi Bryani from next door.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I asked Buddy K to take a picture of me with the painting that I find very beautiful. Pretended like it was my painting and names it 'The twists in Life". Hahahahaha.

 

 

 

 

Some cam-whoring session with Buddy K after hanging out at the shop for 2 hours before I left. The weather was really hot so I decided to tie my hair up again today.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 I met my favourite Mummy, Jasmine, at Raffles MRT station. And we tried to find our way to The Arts House. Accompanying her on a small quest for her job. I decided to act tourist for a day, taking pictures with the statues outside of Asian Civilization Museum. Photos below are credits to Jasmine. We walked all the way to Clark Quay next, bought a drink from Gong Cha and took a train back.

HAPPY 4 YEARS 3 MONTHS OLD

To My Baby Girl, MELODY!!! <3

I headed back to office today, to collect my pay cheque.

Had lunch with Fayth at KA Centre, so lucky that there is Tempura Set today. Their tempura is really nice and I have been craving for it. It was a lunch treat from Fayth, thank you so much!

Had high-tea with Si Hui at Holland Village, in Fosters. The scones were really awesome as told by Ashley. It taste so good when eaten piping hot. Rare chance to have high tea session at such places on a weekday.

It has been a great day chatting with random people when I was back in the office today. Sadly Chef Ling was off today, no fate to see him. Could have disturbed him about Zynga Poker.
