Goodbye July!

Today marks the last day of July. 

Just before I left for work, Melody requested for me to take lots and lots of photos of her. So adorable.

Hello to my new bag from Charles & Keith which my 3rd uncle's wife bought for me last night. Knowing me, I always make use of my new stuffs very quickly. Hehe.

Sally bought Fish Ball Mee Tai Mak soup for me for breakfast today. 

I decided to have fried rice for lunch again. Though my friends think it's not nice or too plain, but I really like it just the way it is. Probably one of my frequent meals here.

It was Sally's last day of work today. Jasmine came over too as my manager was treating the both of them to a farewell lunch. So I did a farewell card for Sally, a farewell card for Jasmine even though I never got to work with her and a Selamat Hari Raya card for my manager.

Met up with Buddy Kenny for dinner. An unexpected surprise when his Gf joined us at the last minute. We had dinner at Ramen Kagetsu Arashi in Cathay. It was nice, the kinf I liked and would want to come back for more.

After his Gf left us, we had small small bites in Carls Junior where we also sat and chit-chat for so long. I was craving for the Chilli Beef Fries and Buddy K bought the Fried Mars Ball which I tried for the first time.

Kinda had a long talk with Buddy K tonight on topics we don't usually touch on too. Of cos before we headed home, we definitely would take some selfies together.

Hai Di Lao Finally.

Third day of work officially.

Sally bought Curry Chicken Mee Tai Mak for my breakfast today, it's only sold on Wednesdays.

I decided to have cup noodles for lunch today. Trying to not let my stonach get to full.

I took shameless selfies of myself because I stopped in the middle of the path just to snap photos of myself against the nice graffiti walk I walked pass when I go to buy coffee. Hahaha.

After work, I took a train over to Sometset to meet Cousin Stella, her Bg Jun Ming and 3rd Uncle's wife for dinner at... Hai Di Lao!!!!!

So happy that I finally had the chance to dine at Hai Di Lao after seeing endless people dining and complmenting how awesome this was. The orice is awesome too.. $267+ for 4pax. 

Snapped a few more selfies of myself after eating till my stomach felt so bloated.

Before dinner, we went in to Charles & Keith and I had a new bag when we left the shop. Thanks to my 3rd Uncle's wife for buying it for me. Yay. New bag added to my collection.

Back to Work.

My first day of work was on a Friday. Yesterday (Monday) was a puclic holiday. Whi means I had three days of break before my second day of work, which is today. Still feeling the blues because I am not able to take afternoon naps for as long as I want anymore. Need to snap back to the reality of working life.

Sally bought Sliced Fish Bee Hoon Soup for my breakfast today.

I decided to try the fried rice for lunch. I was very picky, don't want Taiwan sausage, don't want green peas/carrot etc. So in the end, it's just rice ftied with egg and chicken hotdog bits. But I love it just the way it us and mixing it with their sambal chilli. Yummy.

It was really a blue Tuesday. I bought Wang Wang and apple juice for dinner tonight, just chilling in a place that I felt comfort. 

I bought this adorable Little Ballerina smakk schedule diary/notebook last night. Too cute to want to write in it actually.

My lazy bum earlier this morning.

My simple OOTD for today as I won't be going visiting this year. Sigh.

It's a yearly affair to go to my Grandpa's grave to pay respect to him every Hari Raya morning. It's been over ten years since he left us but he will always be the man that I love and respect most in my life. The greatest Grandpa I ever have. Love him so much.

Had lunch at Crystal Jade at Toa Payoh with my Grandaunt and 3rd Uncle's wife. I love dim sum but I still think Swee Choon is better and Ding Tai Fung's Xiao Long Baos is da bomb.

I am a happy girl today because I have three new tops and two new bars, without having to pay for it. Thanks to my Grandaunt and 3rd Uncle's wife who bought it for me. Could have gotten a few pairs of really cheap footwear but the stuaffs attitude sucks so we all did noy buy anything and left the shop when initially all of us plan to get a few pairs. Haha.

Back at home in the late afternoon. My Melody really loves baby Alden though sometimes her way of showing love towards the baby gets a little rough.

Melody always likes to request for me to take her photos randomly or before I go out. Haha.

I went out to meet my girlfriend, Jasmine, and Trev for dinner. After much thinking, we had dinner at Yoshinoya as Trev wanted it too. I really love their salmon bowl. Yummy.

After dinner, we bought Koi tonight! Sat down to drink and chill for awhile. And of course, taking photos is usually part of the routine. Hehe.

Sadly, I missed out seeing my Uncle, Aaron, and his family again this year because for some reasons, I skipped going over to my Malay Grandaunt home for visiting. This photo was taken in my Grandaunt home, it's a year affair that everyone gathers at her home on the first day of Hari Raya. Hoprfully I grt to see them all next year. Sigh.

And through Uncle Aaron instagram, I found my Malay cousin's instagram account as he posted a pic of her with the cake she baked and promoted her. Saw this family shot of them taken today too. My Malay side family.. Miss seeing all of them! So happy to keep in touch with my Malay cousin again, really thanks to Uncle Aaron.
